Evert Bevernage

Civil Engineer

SNCB-NMBS

After graduating as a naval architect Evert started working in the shipbuilding industry and later as an energy efficiency consultant. It quickly becomes clear that he prefers automating repetitive tasks over doing them and decides to pursue software development for engineering purposes. This starts with designing planning and calculation software for heavy lift and engineered transport.   Evert joined the SNCBs remote diagnostic team in 2017. Since joining, Evert helped to extend the scope of SNCBs remote diagnostics tools to an integrated and growing platform extending over multiple fleets and adopting multiple technologies. He is always on the lookout for new methods and technologies to create a more effective and reliable diagnostic system.
